During DokuFest’s Re:Connect program in Prizren, Kosovo, director Max Haller sets out to film Diti, a local hairdresser who dreams of building a future in Switzerland. But technical mishaps, constant interruptions, and a chaotic one-day shoot derail the original plan. Forced to improvise, the film transforms into a playful hybrid of documentary, behind the scenes diary, and mockumentary, where the filmmaking process itself becomes the story told through the perspective of an unexpected narrator: a boom michrophone.
